“ Top notch for bar food. They had a limited menu for a concert event, but that was to be expected. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was juicy and flavorful. My hubby and I also shared the bacon cheddar fries, yum! The bar staff kept our drinks full. During the show there were plenty of wait staff checking in frequently. The only weird thing was that if you had a tab at the bar, it did not connect to wait staff tablets and you couldn't open a tab with wait staff...however you could have a tab open with two different wait staff...this caused confusion at the end of the night when our friend paid her bill with one waitress and then another asked her to pay her bill with her. This issue needs to be addressed. All tabs should be connected. You lost out on drink sales because we couldn't get through the crowd to the bar to access our tab. The show was great and security did a great job nipping the one issue in the bud. I felt safe the whole show. The bathrooms were dated but spotless! They even had an attendant on duty to keep it clean. Well done. ”
“ I went to a party at Hard Times this past Saturday night and WAS shocked at how great the food was. I go to bars often so I was expecting the same mid food...I was so wrong. The customer service was amazing as well. I was impressed with how they took care of our group. I will definitely be back and highly recommend. ”

“ I was so excited to find this place after all of the locations near me have closed. The food was comforting, delicious and economical. They have hand cut fries that are fried correctly and perfectly done. The Buffalo Chicken wrap was sauced correctly (I did order extra sauce but that’s just how I like things) and the chicken tasted delicious. It wasn’t a low grade tender used. We also had the Chili Mac 4 ways. We got the Texas Chili which to me was more just like taco meat and less like chili. It was still good all together once we added sour cream. I can’t wait to go back next time I am in town. My only complaint is the smoke from the closed off bar area still was very thick and present in the non-smoking dining area. As someone who is highly sensitive to cigarette smoke, that was a turn off. It also kept me from venturing over to the huge bar area with lots of games and pool tables. ”

“ Stopped by Hard Times for a late lunch and was not disappointed. We were greeted and seated quickly, our waitress took our drink order and brought us the chili sampler tray. All options were very yummy. I ordered the 5-Way Chili Mac with Texas Chili, my date ordered the 4-Way Chili Mac with Cincinnati and Terlingua Red (didn't even know that was an option, mind blown). Both lunches were delivered promptly and were extra delicious. I wish we had some time to play pool, maybe next time. Will definitely return soon to try them Chili Taters. ”

I never come here to drink, i come here for the food so i can't review the drinks they serve, but the food is always amazing, the staff are really nice and always quick, and the atmosphere is amazing. I would say though if you want to bring the family here, avoid Saturday nights (they have events these night and a lot of people come to drink), and stay on the family seating side. ”
